The Team went to this site to conduct fish counts on the Sha-Sha Buccaneer and the St. Jacques wrecks and on the rock piles between those ships and the Thozina, as well as to assess the condition of the wrecks.
There was a strong current, so fish counters had to hide behind wreck sections. The current made dive tasks very difficult, because if you missed your monitoring spot, it was almost impossible to swim against or across the current without being carried northward by the current. The wrecks have continued to deteriorate.
One 7" Lionfish was spotted in the rubble but was not eradicated.
The ships are covered in Orange Cup coral with any free space covered by other benthics.
